I love having a reason to go to Goodwill. It doesn’t even have to be a good one. Even if I leave with $100 less than I went in with, I know I got my money’s worth. This month, I only went to the Goodwill in Spartanburg and found nine great pieces to add to my closet. For these items, I paid $45.75 total, so averaging a little more than $5 per item.

This is a series I’m going to carry out indefinitely, so every month I’ll have a GOOD reason to spend my coins in a thrift store. I’m super happy it’s off to a good start - claiming it for every month to come!

Even though this blazer is a size 16, it has entirely too much potential for me to not have bought it. I honestly like the oversized look, but to make it perfect, I’d have it taken in just a smidge as well as have the shoulder pads removed. I’m ready to wear this one out NOW.

If I don’t find anything else at the thrift store, I know I’ll find at least one or two good sweaters to take home. Both of these that I found are a perfect fit, in perfect condition, and feel great against the skin.

Sweater 2: Aerie - I’ve always heard they’re a little expensive, so I consider this one a steal :)

This was the only item I almost put back, but I’m glad I didn’t. Paired with leather pants and red heels, I have myself a cute look to throw on!

Fitness girlies … if you haven’t thought about going to Goodwill to find gym clothes, you’re playing yourself.

Pullover 1: Maurices - Absolutely love the style and color combo of this one.

Pullover 2: Avalanche - This one is fleece lined, so great for outdoor activities during the Winter. It also has thumb holes in the sleeves and a hole in the back of the hood for your ponytail.
