7 Days of Valentine's Day Looks: Day 6
I am, in fact, still in love with puff sleeves. It has been a thing for me for at least the last two years.
I live for the drama.
The pizazz.
All of the razzle dazzle.
This jumpsuit is doing it for me. Almost as easy as putting on a dress but just barely missing the mark. It’s the one you put on when the event is all about you, because it’s definitely going to turn some heads. And the color? Perfection. Fine as wine if you ask me.
If it’s one thing about ASOS, they know how to design a stand out garment. You’re going to pay the price for it, but in exchange you’re getting good quality, something unique, and it’s going to last you for a long time. This jumpsuit is from their LUXE line, and they describe it as their brand for elevated looks. Take a quick scroll through the designs and you’ll be shaking your head with extreme approval.
The more the garment has going on, the less you need to do when it comes to accessories, so I opted for a pair of gold dangle earrings from Express, my everyday “D” pendant necklace, and a snake print handbag from Michael Kors. The jumpsuit is so damn long you can’t even see the shoes that I have on, but under there you’d find a pair of gold lace up heels. Mind you, these heels are probably at least 5 inches, so even standing at 5’8 the jumpsuit is still dragging the ground. I’ll have my alterations lady take an inch or two off.
Puff sleeves do make it difficult to wear a coat, so in this case I’d recommend a neutral-colored trench coat to wear that you can just drape over your shoulders. I purchased this one from PrettyLittleThing, and it’ll definitely suffice in keeping my shoulders warm in the time that I’m walking from the car into wherever I’m going.

At this point, it would be very difficult for me to pick a favorite out of the looks from the last six days. I have no clue which one I’m going to wear on Valentine’s Day, or if I’m even going to wear any of them. Deion and I’s anniversary is more of our Valentine’s Day, so I may very well be sitting in the house in my robe and bonnet on the 14th.
Stay tuned to see how “7 Days of Valentine’s Day Looks” gets wrapped up tomorrow!
