7 Days of Valentine's Day Looks: Day 5
I feel your disappointment of not seeing a bunch of pink on your screen right now. It was a fun four days, I know, I just had to break it up a little bit. I blame it on these leather trousers from BOA that fit me so damn well that I didn’t have a choice but to put an outfit together with them.
On another note, I also recognize that not everyone has a love for pink, and maybe love an all black look with a subtle pop of color. This one is for y’all.
If you didn’t know, leather and satin/silk are fabrics that go perfectly with one another. You’ll look classy without even trying that hard. Especially with a bodysuit such as this one. I bought it for someone that I styled for a photoshoot, and wasn’t sure what size she needed, so the one I’m wearing is the one that was too big for her. It was about two years ago, but luckily for you, it’s still available on Amazon, and comes in six different colors. As an Amazon Associate, I do earn commission on qualifying purchases that are made through the paid links on this post, including the one above and the two below.
I ended up deciding on red as the pop of color once I came across this velour heart purse on Amazon. It’s literally the cutest thing ever. I’m not sure how often I’d use it, but I can say the same thing about just about every pair of heels that I buy, so it’s all good. The earrings are also from Amazon, and very clearly inspired by the purse. They’re cute and inexpensive, but my only complaint is that the stick part that goes through the ear hole is kind of short, making it slightly difficult to secure the earring back onto it. I don’t see it as a reason to return them, though.
Y’all can’t really see my shoes, but they’re just a pair of black open-toed heels from Shoe Dazzle. With this look, if it is colder outside, you could easily wear a pair of closed-toe heels with a black leather jacket or fur coat. I’d bet a black trench coat would be fire too.
