Dresses are the laziest, most efficient thing you can wear and still look like a dime. Don’t let it be summertime - I’ll throw one on with a pair of sandals in a heartbeat. This is why I side eye anyone that says they’re excited for Fall because of the fashion. You’re telling me you’re excited to have to put on a jacket, socks, and real shoes and that it’s better than sandals and dresses in 75+ degree weather?

I simply cannot believe that.

In the moment, when I’m putting a nice look together that has a few layers, I feel excited, but I’ll never look forward to having to wear more to keep myself from freezing when I walk outside.

Day 1’s look was the most casual, today’s is probably the easiest and most comfortable. I bought this dress from ShowPo some months ago, and since it’s a Summer dress, I wore my husband’s MK denim jacket over it. This is honestly my go to when it comes to outerwear, so I might as well start calling it our denim jacket. With the oversized fit and gold hardware, and just rolling up the sleeves a little bit, it’s honestly perfect.

I’ve been feeling wearing long boots with midi/maxi length skirts and dresses lately. Considering these calf boots from EGO were the only ones that I have that would go with the dress, the decision of what shoes to wear were clear from the jump. It’s kind of funny because they were an impulse buy on a random night that I told Deion I wanted a pink pair of boots.

I’ve really entered into my next level of feminine era - that’s the explaination I’m giving when someone notices that I became obsessed with pink all of a sudden.

Before even seeing the photos, you probably could’ve guessed that I chose to wear gold jewelry. The earrings are from Express, bracelet and rings from Target, and my purse is from Michael Kors. It’s the SoHo Quilted Leather Shoulder Bag, for anyone wanting to know.

Unfortunately the dress is sold out, but keep in mind that Summer dresses that are able to be winterized have tons of possibilities when it comes to styling. You can literally wear it anywhere, anytime.
